Anxiety is a mental illness that occurs from the body's physical response to either a threat or perceived threat. Individuals will typically feel their heart pounding, rapid breathing, burst of energy, etc., along with excessive fears and worries as their mental responses.
Everyone experiences some form of anxiety from time to time within their lives. Anxiety gives us the energy to avoid energy and helps us keep alert.
